Adware Pop Up Blocker
I thrive ads in a separate web page when I'm on IE?
I have McAfee 10 in 1 suite and remvoal, adware tool pop-ups and firewalls. I tried to block these ads, but are constantly arising. I'm not what else to do because I believe they were buried somewhere in Internet Explorer, please help !!!!!! Thanks I will try to Samuel. I have McAfee site advisor and lavasoft!
You should download Spybot, update definitions and scan in safe mode (explained below). Your computer is infected. Pop-ups are mostly caused by adware, spyware and other malicious and unwanted software and the use of blocking pop-ups will not help an infected PC. No program can detect and remove all spyware and I recommend using Ad-aware and Spybot (they are free). Other large free anti-spyware programs would be Super anti-spyware and AVG Anti-Spyware (formerly Ewido). Implementation of these programs in Safe Mode (press F8 at startup to boot your computer and choose in safe mode) can be more effective. If you have updated antivirus program always works, you have to get one. Install one, but you can get AVG, Avast! Or AntiVir for free. I recommend using Firefox is a better and safer than Internet Explorer though. If you add the McAfee SiteAdvisor, which warns you sites potentially dangerous. I also recommend CCleaner is a free system optimization and privacy tool.
