The history and development of Microsoft Vista
For a little over five years, consumers have been pregnant with anticipation for the commercial launch Windows Vista. Since its commercial launch on January 30 September 2007, people ask: "What has been so long?" Perhaps a brief tour her story will shed light on the issue.
Longhorn
Crucial to any account of the history of Whistler Vista, Longhorn and Blackcomb, which actually are the real names of places in British Columbia. Both resorts of Whistler and Blackcomb ski resort, while Longhorn is the small bar between the two ski sites. At Microsoft, the names became code names. Whistler was in fact Windows XP, Windows Vista was Longhorn and Blackcomb is still an unknown function version top of the system. If you get the analogy between the actual locations and operating systems, then you understand that Windows Vista is designed to be somewhere in between.
The beginning
Even before Windows XP was released, Microsoft stated that since May 2001, he worked on developing a new operating system. The general excitement began and since the second half of 2002, creating leaks, both true and false, got into the Internet. Since June 2002, there were some rumors that Vista will have improved security measures and a more modern look. On October 20, 2002, however, the first Longhorn build leak showed that resembled a as Windows XP. There was a leak to pass the February 28, 2003, but has shown that Windows Explorer to sport a new theme Plex.
In the last months of 2003, the development of Windows Vista has suffered a setback when Microsoft realized that they were not making good progress. It seemed as if there were no apparent source of what final product should be. The road to Longhorn would be properly allocated in order to make Vista better.
It became evident to some extent in mid-2003 that Longhorn would never do for an early release. The statement was pushed below the first part of 2005. Some saw it as a sign of Microsoft's commitment development of new system.
April 30, 2004, a court Aero transitions were seen for the first time. The theme of jade and tile box were additional Viewed in another version of leaks on May 4, 2004.
The final stretch
Aero style finally came into focus in a January 4 2005 version. Two months later, the name of Windows Vista has been revealed. For many, the name of the system hopes to achieve greater ease and clarity.
On July 27, 2005, Windows Vista Beta 1 was released. The beta testers had their first experience of a new user interface, virtual folders, parental control and network stacks. Windows Vista Beta 2, followed May 23, 2006 which was made available for download to users in the following month. On November 8, 2006, in the final version was made. The final product has finally been made available on the market on January 30, 2007.
