Why Most People Never Make Money From Clickbank
Clickbank is an online marketplace for ebooks and other goods that can be downloaded electronically. I first learnt about Clickbank when I was lured into a data entry scam online. I was pretty desperate for money at the time and would’ve believed anything. I paid my fee to find out how to make money online. The fee was processed by Clickbank. I was then told to make money I should promote this Clickbank product and I would get a commission on products sold. I should have just cut my losses there and then.
I followed the instructions exactly. I set up a Google AdWords campaign and invested more money in an email campaign. I did everything to the letter. Within a couple of days I had made over $200. I felt elated. But guess what? I made no more money and when my Google AdWords bill came through, the whole thing had cost about $400. The cheque took months to arrive and then another month to process.
Since then I have bought many Clickbank products, mainly on how to make money online. I cannot think of one useful thing I have learnt from them. I have tried promoting many of the products as well. With article marketing, PPC, email campaigns and blogs and nothing has worked. I think the market has become oversaturated with Clickbank affiliates. PPC campaigns simply do not make me money anymore, but they cost me a lot.
Many people who create Clickbank products simply want to make a quick buck. They do not care about the affiliates. They are not even that successful themselves. I think if you have a large list of people who trust what you say you may have some luck promoting Clickbank products, but otherwise I wouldn’t waste your time.
